Job Responsibility:
Create websites using WordPress for both corporate and eCommerce purposes.
Devise and enhance user interface and experience across various digital channels.
Assist the team with technical and coding tasks, such as assessing technical needs for new internal or external projects.
Propose website UI/UX design wireframes and adjust existing design templates to meet client requirements.
Transform design concepts into functional websites.
Capable of developing WordPress plugins and possessing a comprehensive understanding of them.
Devise, build, test, debug, enhance and upkeep websites in accordance with our client contracts.
Produce handover documents for the website and provide clients with a guide on how to manage and maintain the site.
Work closely with the sales team to support other relevant duties and responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineer, or related course with equivalent qualifications.
- Having prior experience in building corporate and e-commerce websites using WordPress is essential.
- Proficient in the following technologies:
- Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- WordPress
- Configuration of domains and hosting
- APIs
- Able to think logically, and have a keen interest in website development.
- Enjoys challenging problem solving
- Matured and able to communicate effectively, both spoken and written in English.
- Disciplined, independent and punctual
