Bhd. has achieved ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 27001:2022 (Information Security Management Systems) certifications. These certifications cover the provision of ICT services, mail, and data storage solutions, and reflect Karuna’s commitment to delivering consistent quality and safeguarding client data at international standards.
A 15-Month Journey
This milestone is the result of 15 months of preparation and teamwork, led by:
- CEO, Melvin Ong – who oversaw the improvements in operations and documentation to align with ISO 9001 standards.
- Director, Christopher Wan – who guided the company’s security framework and ensured alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
- Cybersecurity Lead, Vincent Ngu – who conducted the internal cybersecurity audits and ensured the organisation’s readiness for certification.

“When I looked at our processes, I saw that documentation was not standardised,” said CEO Melvin Ong. “To compete for larger projects, especially in government and international markets, we needed a recognised framework.
